Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
Unfiltered Cards is developed and maintained by Stanislav Sobolev, operating as Things Are Alive Lab. If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at things.are.alive.lab@gmail.com.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We want to be completely transparent: we do not collect, store, process, or share any personally identifiable information. Specifically:
- We do not require you to create an account.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information.
- We do not collect location data.
- We do not use advertising SDKs or collect data for advertising purposes.
- We do not use analytics services (e.g., Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.).
- We do not track your behaviour within the app.
- We do not store any of the cards you view or answers you give.
3. In-App Purchases & RevenueCat
Unfiltered Cards offers optional card packs as one-time in-app purchases (non-consumable). To manage purchase verification and restore purchases across devices, the app uses RevenueCat — a third-party subscription and purchase management service.
RevenueCat may collect and process the following data on our behalf:
- A pseudonymous app user ID (randomly generated, not linked to your identity).
- Purchase receipt data provided by Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Device type and OS version (for purchase verification purposes).
RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any other personally identifiable information from us. Their data practices are governed by the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
All actual payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your payment card details. Their respective privacy policies apply to those transactions.
4. No User Accounts
Unfiltered Cards does not have a registration system. You do not need to create an account to use the app, and we have no login mechanism. Your purchase history is tied to your Apple ID or Google Account — managed entirely by Apple or Google, not by us.
5. Data Stored on Your Device
The app may store certain data locally on your device (such as which packs you have unlocked) to ensure the app works correctly without an internet connection. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
6. Analytics & Tracking
We do not use any third-party analytics, crash reporting, or behavioural tracking tools in this app. We do not use cookies, pixels, or any tracking technologies.
7. Children's Privacy
Unfiltered Cards is rated 17+ and is intended for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 17. If you believe a minor has somehow provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately at things.are.alive.lab@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete such information.
8. GDPR — Your Rights (EU & Ukraine Users)
Because we do not collect personal data, most GDPR rights (access, rectification, deletion, portability) do not apply in a traditional sense — there is simply no personal data held by us to act on.
The only personal-data-adjacent processing is done through RevenueCat (see Section 3). If you wish to exercise rights over that data, you may contact RevenueCat directly through their privacy policy page, or contact us and we will assist where possible.
If you are a resident of Ukraine, the EU, or the EEA and believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Data Retention
Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Purchase receipt data retained by RevenueCat is governed by their own retention policies.
10. Security
As we do not store personal data, there is no personal data at risk of a breach on our end. RevenueCat is a reputable service with its own security standards. All communications between the app and RevenueCat are encrypted.
11. Third-Party Links
The app or this website may contain links to third-party services (e.g., the App Store or Google Play). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services and encourage you to read their privacy policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
